Was Obama acting a little more black during 2007 speech?

So I was watching Anderson Cooper tonight which he talked about how both political parties are bringing up past videos of each presidential candidate. Basically the parties are using mudslinging tactics by critiquing past speeches and showing the inconsistent character of both Obama and Romney.

For example, Anderson Cooper showed a past speech made by Obama in 2007. This rare footage was drudged up by the online media The Daily Caller. If you want to view the speech just click here and go down the page a little bit. You will see it.

Anderson Cooper and the Daily Caller is conveying the   distinct difference in Obama's demeanor and speech compared to his normal press behavior. Also, the Daily Caller believes the speech was racially motivated as  Obama compared the standards of help given in the cases of  Hurricane Andrew, 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. Simply put, Obama said there were double-standards in the way New Orleans was treated compared to the other two cities which suffered natural disasters and those standards were skewed because of racial differences.

Here is the big question. What the fuck does it matter if Obama seems to sound a little more ghetto when talking during this speech? What does it matter that he talked to a racially charged audience, of mostly black attendees, about an obvious inefficiency which affected black people?

The Daily Caller wants to put out there that Obama changed his style and flow for one type of audience then becomes a little less black when he goes in front of a mostly white upper-class audience. So, what if he wants to connect to the people he is talking to? Romney only wishes he could halfway connect to black people in the same way a person of color can.

And let's be honest, this election year is the first time Obama is really speaking to the masses and they understand as people respond in kind. This technique is something Obama was not fully grasping during the first election race. The media banged on Obama and his failure to really reach the people.

The way I look at it; use whatever you have and make it work for you. If Obama needs to talk a little more black then be Black Dynamite. And the Daily Caller needs to stop beating the devil in this issue.
