The devil is alive in the Word of Faith Fellowship Church

Oh my God the devil is alive and he is in the Word of Faith Fellowship Church in NC.

Everyone may not know this gay member of the LGBTQ but Michael Lowry is getting lots of attention for exposing abuse the church has done to him some time ago.

As he tells the story the church was some sort of a home for Michael and he had been attending this church for years. Last year Michael told some of the congregation that he is gay and that is when the church allegedly took it upon themselves to hold this young gay man against his will to try and beat the gay out of him verbally and physically.

No doubt this must be a scary situation for him and it takes a lot of guts to come back later to confront those who now say Michael Lowry's allegations are false. You know there will be accusations thrown back and forth with lot of  "faulty" and "selective" memories floating around.

No one is going to own up to the accusation that the Word of Faith Church in NC may have hurt this man. I have to use the word "maybe" because the law has not convicted these people in a trial yet. Hell, the organization plus Lowry's parents are claiming they did not know Michael was gay until the news report came out. What kind of bull is that?

What kind of parents would make their child a sitting duck for abuse of any kind? If they made a mistake like so many parents have, in the past, faced with the same situation why not own up to the problem and rebuild that relationship with their child? Does Michael Lowry's parents feel this will be over if they let it all just blow away?

These are some very disturbing and interesting questions but one thing is for sure. The devil is alive and kicking so someone is going to have a barbecued behind.

Sam Champion is gay well what do you know

Well if you have no figured it out yet Sam Champion is gay. Yes, Sam Champion that does the weather on Good Morning America is gay. He came out with this glorious new on Friday and to tell you the truth Anderson Cooper has already stole his coming-out thunder.

First, what self-respecting gay man did not know Sam Champion was gay? Look at those perfect teeth, that sharp wit and those perfectly color coordinated clothes he wears on television. Are you telling me that people did not know?

And don't get this post wrong it's not like we are not proud but everyone wants to come-out now that Anderson Cooper and Frank Ocean plunged out of the closet after Obama proverbially come out of the closet himself for gay marriage.

Let's be real, being out and gay is the new hip thing if you are success and on TV. If you are an ordinary gay joe you have to suffer the stereotypes and stigmas of being out and gay. People don't see you in the same light when you don't have lots of money and adoring fans. To the average gay person being out can be nothing but headache and trouble.

Coming-out can also be one of the most liberating and inspiring days of a gay individuals life. You are telling the world "I am more than queer and I am definitely here." I am powerful, strong and deserve respect because no matter what I am going to be me whether you like it or not and God know's I hope you do.

Coming-out can be a hit or miss but what it will never be is useless. Sam Champion is leading by example so he is working a double not the devil in this case. Everyone in the gay community should support his decision and be proud of him.

Punch someone in the face next time they have something to say about how you look

Everybody look at this gay ad on the left. A beautiful site right? Now how many reader's self-esteem just dropped to the floor because they wished they looked like these models?

This all came to me when I was reading an article in the Huffington Post titled "Gay Men and Body Image: It's Time For a Revolution".  The author Jacob Tobia tell stories of personal battles dealing with his self-esteem when he was younger and how he wanted to look like the models in this post.

Tobia also wrote about how family and friends bullied him about his weight and made fun of the fact he had a pot belly. Through this experience he recently came up with the revelation that it was time for gay men to not put the focus on their outward appearance but worry about the person you are on the inside.

Now, I agree with Tobia. There needs to be a change but if a lot of you gay men are like me; don't you just want to hit someone in their face when they say something to bring you down. I am not advocating violence so don't take this the wrong way. I am just saying there is a part of me that want to put some of these high and mighty gay men in their place that believe they are so beautiful by classifying someone else as ugly.

I got a news flash for the beautiful people. Physical beauty comes and goes with the next generation of young gay males. Not to mention that someone will always have something to say about you whether you are tall, short, good looking, ugly or green. It is just in some people's nature to build themselves up by tearing you down which is an easy task in this beauty centric gay male culture we live in.

I got some more news for you, nobody on this planet can make you feel bad about yourself if you understand their disrespect is not about you. It is about them trying to feel better at your expense. Show people that your cost is too high, because the real beautiful has unconditional value and you have already finished your payments to receive that type of beauty.

Stop playing with the devil if you want to be beautiful.

Was Obama acting a little more black during 2007 speech?

So I was watching Anderson Cooper tonight which he talked about how both political parties are bringing up past videos of each presidential candidate. Basically the parties are using mudslinging tactics by critiquing past speeches and showing the inconsistent character of both Obama and Romney.

For example, Anderson Cooper showed a past speech made by Obama in 2007. This rare footage was drudged up by the online media The Daily Caller. If you want to view the speech just click here and go down the page a little bit. You will see it.

Anderson Cooper and the Daily Caller is conveying the   distinct difference in Obama's demeanor and speech compared to his normal press behavior. Also, the Daily Caller believes the speech was racially motivated as  Obama compared the standards of help given in the cases of  Hurricane Andrew, 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. Simply put, Obama said there were double-standards in the way New Orleans was treated compared to the other two cities which suffered natural disasters and those standards were skewed because of racial differences.

Here is the big question. What the fuck does it matter if Obama seems to sound a little more ghetto when talking during this speech? What does it matter that he talked to a racially charged audience, of mostly black attendees, about an obvious inefficiency which affected black people?

The Daily Caller wants to put out there that Obama changed his style and flow for one type of audience then becomes a little less black when he goes in front of a mostly white upper-class audience. So, what if he wants to connect to the people he is talking to? Romney only wishes he could halfway connect to black people in the same way a person of color can.

And let's be honest, this election year is the first time Obama is really speaking to the masses and they understand as people respond in kind. This technique is something Obama was not fully grasping during the first election race. The media banged on Obama and his failure to really reach the people.

The way I look at it; use whatever you have and make it work for you. If Obama needs to talk a little more black then be Black Dynamite. And the Daily Caller needs to stop beating the devil in this issue.

NOM doesn't want to follow the rules of disclosure in Maine

First a big thanks to the creator of this blog for allowing me express myself unconditionally in this post. It is me Gregory Kelley which you can catch my gay news and relationship articles at http://exm.nr/gkelley and http://exm.nr/gregorykelley.

This my first time contributing to this blog and I am so use to writing in third person so forgive me if I get a little too honest in this post.

The National Organization for Marriage is a fucking cunt. Ok, let me be a little more specific, they are a fucking douche bag. This all stems from the recent duck and cover tactic they are using to avoid disclosing their donation list from the 2009 initiative that stomped out gay marriage rights in Maine.

Thank God the Supreme Court decided not to hear their case of Maine's disclosure law being against free speech which is a load of free crap. If you are going to play hard, play fair like everyone else. Any organization that raised money must register a list of donors that gave $5000 dollars or more to influence any election in the state of Maine. NOM has been trying to duck this law by getting the Supreme Court involved which is weak.

Let's move on to theoretical reason why NOM is being a bitch about this whole thing. The first thought that popped into my head has to do with money. Let's take the scenario with Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A is based in Atlanta which holds the third largest population of gay Americans. Chick-fil-A have been giving large sums of donations to NOM to fight against marriage equality. Now, how many gay Atlanta residents put their money into Chick-fil-A? I am going to guess a lot. Now, that Dan Cathy was careless enough to express his personal anti-gay marriage views which caused concern of where Chick-fil-A gives their charitable dollars, do you think gay people are spending the same amount of money with the company?

The answer is hell no. Why would the gay community help Dan Cathy and NOM stomp out our rights using money supplied by us. That is fucking insane. NOM knows if that list were to get out then the LGBTQ would know which anti-gay companies, are highly invested in the LGBTQ.  Gay Americans have deep pockets and massive spending power. We would not allow the use of our dollars to fight against gay rights.

Like I said just a theory.

Hopefully Rupert Everett's ignorance is nurture not nature

So, who has not heard the bullshit that came out of, openly gay British star, Rupert Everett's mouth? Just for a recap here is the disrespectful commentary he gave to the London Sunday Times as cited by LGBTQ Nation.

“She thinks children need a father and a mother and I agree with her,” he said. “I can’t think of anything worse than being brought up by two gay dads."

“Some people might not agree with that. Fine! That’s just my opinion."

“I’m not speaking on behalf of the gay community. In fact, I don’t feel like I’m part of any ‘community.’"

“The only community I belong to is humanity and we’ve got too many children on the planet, so it’s good not to have more.”

The person Everett refers to, in the statement, and agrees with is his mother. Meaning no disrespect to his mother and she does have a right to her opinion, I believe she is more than terribly wrong but the person I most pissed off at is Rupert Everett.

The sad part about this whole situation (like there is a good part) has nothing the do with downing families with two gay parents. The saddest part is that Everett does not understand he is a gay man that is showing disloyalty and bigotry towards his own people or at least it shows as much.

For me, I reference the black community and our struggles as a template to unity. Black people who did not see themselves as part of the community, to which they naturally belong, was seen as "Uncle Toms". I know that term throws people of center  but that is keeping the conversation 100%.

Rupert Everett does not see himself as part of a community from his actual statement but he does not understand there is more than one person in a community. He does not have the monopoly on the natural characteristic of being gay. He may not feel connected to the gay community but he is part of it when you are "openly gay" as a show of pride which, from his statement, has very little of along with self-respect and self-esteem.

When a gay man can say that the worse thing in any scenario involves being gay and does not understand that he disrespects himself in the process; there is a disconnect and strong issues not being dealt with in that individual.

The way I look at it, if you don't want to be a part of the solution, don't be the problem and don't show the rest of the world how broken the gay community can be by destroying your gay brother. Rupert Everett is being the devil so his dues are paid up.

Ex-gay porn star Ryan Idol gets 12 years in the big house

Is it me or are ex-gay porn stars losing their minds these days? Do you lose your grip on reality because you get a little older in this industry? No, that can't be it because Luka Magnotta is only 29 and he was eating the people that he killed.

Whatever the case, Marc Anthony Donais a.k.a. Ryan Idol, one of my favorite porn stars, got 12 years for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend. Who would have thought he had a girlfriend.

According to court statements, ole' boy busted in the house and started whaling on the bitch with a toilet lid. Damn, either Mr. Idol was on that crack or this bitch must have really did something to piss him off.

I guess when you catch your man having sex with his male lover that makes for a compromising situation. I mean he can't be that mad at the bitch because he was a gay porn star. Actually he was the gay male porn star in the 1990's so what did she expect? And, did he expect from himself after making all that money and fame from what he loves to do the best?

I can see where all the anger could come into play if she was snooping around trying to catch him doing something wrong. So, if he was stepping out on her after promising to leave guys alone then fireworks would start very easily.

Now this is only a theory. I mean there has got to be some reason for all that anger to where he bashes her ass with the only thing he could find which is a toilet lid. I hit that bitch with a bottle. Those words keep jumping up and down in my head every time I think about this story. May be that other song I really hate you right now.

Whatever the case, God bless you Ryan Idol for keeping life interesting. Don't drop the soap and remember to pay the devil his due.

Gay couple sues because their wedding photo was used in hate campaign

Wow this story really pisses me off to no end. This situation started some months ago when married gay couple Tom Privitere and Brian Edwards found their wedding photo had been doctored and used in a anti-gay campaign mailer in Colorado.

The couple went through the proper channels asking the Public Advocates of the United States, an official SPLC hate group, to cease and desist with using the photo. As you can see no answer was given to the couple's demands so they have filed a lawsuit hopefully asking for as much damn money as possible.

Being the devil's advocate you have to ask yourself, is it fair game once your picture hits the net for everyone to see? Once your picture is in living color, on the internet for everyone to enjoy, is it fair game for any jackass to take your image and use for their own twisted purpose?

Look at celebrities and how their photos get used and doctored all the time for some sick reason. Famous people just take it with a grain of salt and keep it moving. They must have thick skin by nature. Should this happy couple take the same view point and just let the matter go?

Hell no!!  Here you have a loving gay couple and their picture gets used for a situation that directly conflicts with their lives, being and origins of the photograph. Someone took a gay wedding photo and turned it into a hate mailer opposing marriage equality. That is dirty on so many levels.

And, let's not say that it was just a random picture plucked off the net because even if that was true, no empathy or remorse is being shown by the offending organization in this matter. It is obvious a lack of judgement and common sense was used in the first place so why think the PAUS would show any regret for their actions now.

Hopefully the happily married couple will raise some hell and get all the money they can to make the PAUS pay the devil.

Atlanta couple tries to stab each other, what the devil

This news story about a gay couple stabbing each other comes from Project Q Atlanta which is a great online media outlet to read.

You have this couple in Atlanta, one man is 40-years-old the other is 29, having domestic fights from hell that started in the bedroom with pillow talk.

The first thing I thought of is a lack of sleep probably contributed to the already hostile situation and I bet they went to bed mad. My mama always told me not to go to bad mad with the person I love because I might not wake up that next morning. She never told me I might not wake up because I had a knife in my chest though.

So, from verbally fighting in the bed it turned into a physical fight with a scuffle in the bedroom closet. How in the hell you end up from the bed to the closet? From the closet the fight went into the bathroom and somewhere during all this chaos someone had the good sense to call the police.

When the police got there the older person in the relationship said his lover tried to stab him but I guess that story did not hold any water because the paramedics judged his injuries as self-inflicted. The police might have believed him if he had not gotten out of jail, two months ago, for a prior domestic charge where he tried to stab the young boyfriend.

This is some bullshit. That is too much hell when you get to the point of knife stabbing and night arguing. When you get to that point let it go. It is not worth it especially when APD gets involved. This may be projecting but Atlanta Police care very little about two gay people chopping each other in the middle of the night.

Sounds to me they've already played the devil so just get a goodnight's rest the next time or breakup.

Paul Ryan don't know dick about 'American' or 'universal human values'

Where in the hell does Paul Ryan get off with saying that marriage equality is not an 'American' or "universal human value". Wait a minute, let me calm down for a moment because in reality that is not what he actually said. What he said was
"The things you talk about like traditional marriage and family and entrepreneurship...these aren’t values that are indicative to any one person or race or creed or color."
So what were meaning by saying that Ryan? Are you trying to say that gay marriage or civil unions don't hold the standards to which Americans can hang their hat moral values. Is it that gay marriage does not encompass all people the same way that 'traditional' values do?

Well, I got news for you, you twat. "Gay" is a label just like "traditional". It just describes the type of variants of marriages that is all. Marriage is the union that holds the value and here is something else. Marriage just means a union of two separate elements.

It's just a word you twit and the religious conservative right is giving that word so much power that they want to be the only ones with their paws on the brand name of marriage. Marriage is only between a man and a woman. Marriage can be between two morons too, it does not mean they were idiots for getting married or give it any less American or human value.

The whole point here Mr. Paul Ryan is people think that universal traditional values only deals with marriage but it has to do with the freedom and happiness. Those are two values that are traditional and afforded constitutionally to American citizens. The power of liberty and justice for all. Give me liberty or give me death, remember those words Mr. Ryan?

Something tells me that the American Dream and America's reality about values and morals are two different things. JUST PAY THE DEVIL HIS DUE.

Joel Osteen says being straight 'Is not a choice' but being a cunt could be a sin

And I say this with all the heart I can muster, Joel Osteen could you stop being a cunt.  I write this with as much respect possible because I don't want anyone to get the impression that Joel Osteen is a bad man. You don't have to be a bad man to be a cunt really.

All it takes is for you to oppress a whole group of people by telling them they are going to hell, that's all. I mean why stop there. Why not tell the gay community that they have ruined the world by bring disease into civilized lands. That would be less cruel.

Just a few days ago Osteen was on the show "Starting Point". Now, I kind of disagree with the badgering of him to answer a question we pretty well already know the answer he is going to give. There was really no need to beat on him any further unless he is really into BDSM as some rumors in the past has said but that is for a whole other post.

When you get down to it, Osteen is not a bad guy at all. There is a part of me that truly believes he cares about the spiritual welfare of this flock and it makes it hard to call someone a cunt when all they really do is exude cunt like tendencies instead of being a full-fledged cunt in degrading the LGBTQ.

Maybe I am just taking out my frustrations for the whole the gay community out on Osteen because he seems to be such a nice guy, constantly in the public eye, and making the same disparaging statements that have been sending my gay family to the pit of despair for years.

Don't get me wrong I am not blaming him for all the problems the LGBTQ face but as a man of God you would think that Jesus's works of love would be more powerful and widely use than the fundamentalist word of the Bible. So, maybe I am venting a little.

Whatever the case, STOP BEING A CUNT JOEL OSTEEN and remember that everybody got to give the devil his due.

The wishful thinking of old time religion to solve gay-bullying

So I was just thinking about gay-bullying in schools and how the LGBT youth are taught to be be semi-active in their own rescue attempt from something that has been going on forever. I mean let's be real, gay youth are beat up with through the internet or in the physical realm just to be told "It get's better" while secretly these same young people plot to kill themselves because they can't handle the pressure of being who they are no more.

Now, I am not one to advocate violence because this country has seen the power of nonviolent methods and it does have a proven track record. But this is the Devil's Advocate and here I want to express myself honestly.

To be honest when I hear about gay-bashing especially gay-bullying I think back to what Malcolm X said. He said that Muslims were taught to obey the law and respect everybody but if someone puts their hand on you, send them to the cemetery. He said that was that old time religion and he was right.

Back in the day it was about an eye for an eye. There is parts of me that want to tell these young gay people to stand up for themselves and if someone corners you to make sure you have a brick handy and knock the hell out of that person or people.

Back where I am from either you stand up for yourself or suffer the fate of being constantly tested. You stand up to a bully and no matter if you get beat up or win, you get the respect at the end of the day. Now again, I am not advocating violence because I know the action is of violence is a vicious circle but I won't lie.  I would love to spread some of that old time religion to the new generation of gay people and say here "I got a spiritual brick, let me show you how to use it."
